Dear guests. Our cafe is equipped with a climate control system for a comfortable room temperature.
Lovely authentic 'old school' coffee house. Everything here looks like it's from the 40s or 50s but all the people make it look like it's still the 1960s. Had an Amaretto hot chocolate and a rum coffee, washed down with the obligatory Apfel Strudel. Lovely
Proper kaffee that doesn't come off as a tourist trap. Proper place to come have a coffee and read the papers as many older locals do. Not amazing on the taste side and the waiters could be nicer.
Traditional. Good coffee
We had a late lunch, the waiter seemed like they were a bit understaffed, so he always looked like he was in a hurry, but he was friendly.Tafelspitz is a dish worth trying, it looks simple and basic but it tastes delicious!!
Best place on our visit to Vienna. My friends still talk about it years later.
Good coffee, decent cakes and good service in a traditional Viennese Cafe.
Very old style but nice people around. You find your own seats but respect for others who want to stay longer to relax. No rush! Be patience!
Good Viennese cafe house
Old school Vienna coffee house. Off the tourist track, nice little gem.
Nice cafe. Good products and good serving. Moderate prices. I tried apple strudel and sachertorte - good taste. Same word for the melange coffee.
Rustic place with great service.
Even when place is full of people the service is fast and kind.
When in Vienna, do as the Viennese do.
We tried the germknödel it was absolutely fantastic. The service was very polite and helpful. I recommend it 100%
Delicious desserts. I tried Germknödel for the first time and it was fantastic!
Quite empty if you are searching for a place to rest. Also quite expensive. Nice but not special.
Recommended Cafe. Don't expect to be served right away. Come in, sit down and relax. The waiters will show up, just don't be in a rush. Ordered a Viennese Coffee and one of the city specialties, raisin plum pancake. Delicious and would highly recommend ordering it. Waiter seemed grumpy at first but was fast, effective and with a tip, donned a smile and offered me an extra large glass of water. Will be coming back.
Lovely place, good food and ambience. Decently priced. In central location and waiters are very warm and helpful. Free Wi-Fi.
great cafe, not too fancy but definitely fun. just stopped in for drinks and a pumpkin soup which did not disappoint! would return!
The worst Sacher torte ever. Don’t recommend!
Good food and coffee. A bit tired but a nice experience of a traditional Vienna coffee house. Very friendly waiter.
Amazing waiter. Nice atmosphere. Food coffees.
Would not recommend.... Ordered the Apple Strudel, Sacher Torte, Cheesecake and mini chocolate cake... all were either average or below. The Sacher Torte was drier than the Mojave Desert and the cheesecake tasted like sour eggs. Would find something else if you are looking for a good dessert experience in Vienna. The only saving grace was the ambience was ok and our waiter wasn’t horrible.
Visited today, had schnitzel and green salad, followed by kaiserschmarren which was to die for. Reasonable price, nice atmosphere and good service.
Decent interior but double espresso for 4,7 euros that doesn't taste like espresso... I'm not convinced.
Only go there if you have lots of time and are relaxed. The surprisingly customised the omelette for me! Waiters take their own time to come...so this is not a quick eat n go place. Will visit again if I'm not in rush.
A lovely old Viennese cafe with a great selection of coffees and cakes. The Bailey's latte was delicious as was my wife's Bailey's hot chocolate. Total price was 14 euros and only cash or "washing up" accepted, no cards.
Ok I guess but really ordinary.
We've found this place accidentally, during our stay in Vienna. It turned out that it's a great place to have traditional austrian dishes, like kaiserscharmn, with fresh marmalade, or black mokka. It's not the cheapest place, but worth it.
A great traditional old Viennese Cafe. Staff were friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.
Just what the doctor ordered! 🙏🤔☕
Very local Vienna Cafe with yummy local coffee and pastries. We love its Apple Strudel and stewed plum & raisin pancake. I absolutely love the Viennese Emperor's Melange - Perfect coffee with some unique liquor favor. Must try if u are around Albertina.
Went in late in the morning on Sunday. Place was full with mostly non locals like myself. Ordered a coffees, cake and an apple strudel. Disappointed with the deserts. The kitchen odors dominated the air. Waiters.....rude would be a polite word.
An old style Viennese café. A relaxed atmosphere and you can sip your coffee and enjoy a cake. We shared a Kaiserschmarrn that was delicious and spent a couple of hours in the afternoon.
Great coffee and desserts. The yeast dumpling in butter is delicious! Excellent vibes, elegant yet unpretentious. Great place for some food and coffee and relaxation
Quiet busy but relaxed & friendly place for a coffee & a bite.
Had to go to ask for a waiter, who came in 5 min and got lost for another 10 min not taking an order. Disrespectful, will never come back 👎
Very disappointed. Waiter was not polite. We only got 2 minutes to look at the card. Very average coffee but still 4,80 euro’s. On top of that waiter arranged his own tip by not giving back spare money. And just disappeared. How about that...
Historical place. Traditional Austrian food. Vintage atmosphere.
Beautiful Vienna Cafe'! Good prices and really close to Vienna Opera House
Very good place for traditional food from Vienna. Good prices y food quality. Highly recommendable
Fabulous service with the busiest waiter we've ever seen. Seemed to be running the show singlehandedly, all with a smile on his face.
High quality service, just a bit unconfortable chairs and very old building. Which is usual in this city, but it's not something that I like.
If you want to have authentic Austrian food where the locals eat, this is the place. Try the goulash with boiled potatoes, they are amazing. The zucchini soup was also great.
Nice place. Waiters dressed nicely but not too expensive or fancy. No smoking. Pretty spacious, usually seating available
Beautiful relaxed place.
Nice old traditional vienna coffeehouse ! not so crowded then other coffeehouses around in this tourist spot area !
Great breakfast and coffee
Bratwurst was delicious as was everything we ordered. Note: does not accept credit cards
Awesome coffee and Viennese breakfast with custard and cakes!!
